Fresco is a method of mural painting executed upon wet lime plaster, that is why this kind of works became one with the wall. The most recognisable fresco was created by Michelangelo in in the city of Rome in the Sistine Chapel.
Today this method is used very rarely, nevertheless more and more famous have become murals.
